Making Notes
Place the mold on a stable surface and position the wick through the main body of the cat before pouring. Fill at a steady pace so wax reaches the narrower parts of the figure. Give the candle enough time to cool through the body before release; the outside can feel firm while thicker areas are still warm.
Demolding the Figure
Start by loosening the silicone around the widest part of the body. Peel it back gradually around the head, ears and other narrow details rather than pulling the candle upward by the wick. A short 10–15 minute chill can help when the wax is fully set but the detailed areas still grip the mold.
